I first started working in Anger Management in 2016, utilising a cognitive behavioural program called Aggression Replacement Training. I am a psychologist and have also trained to be a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Practitioner and an Integrative Psychotherapist.

I work with anger because it is an emotion that allows us to look directly into the most challenging parts of our psyche. In both group and individual settings, I have found that behind anger lies a whirlwind of experiences that explain its powerful presence in our lives. In my view, your anger is always valid.

This program is not about suppressing anger but about disarming it by understanding its structure and the past experiences that fuel it. Only then can aggressive reactions be replaced with communication that strengthens relationships.

  • This is an intensive 10-week course, and I recommend weekly practice between sessions. For the best results, come prepared to fully engage in the practical experience.
